I am a PhD candidate in the department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences (IEMS) at Northwestern University. My current research is in the area of Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. I have a particular interest in strategic sourcing and procurement. More specifically, I have been doing research on supply chain contract regarding capacity and quality management. My advisors are Professor Seyed M.R. Iravani in the IEMS department at Northwestern University and Professor Izak Duenyas in Operations and Management Science at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

I joined the PhD program in September 2007 and expect to graduate in summer 2012. Besides research, I also enjoy teaching and working with a variety of students. I have been a teaching assistant for many courses and will teach an undergraduate class, Production Planning and Scheduling, in spring 2012.
