  • Develop design and control principles of cellular manufacturing systems with automated equipment and cross-trained workers.
  • Pave ways to combine manufacturing principles with decision support techniques to help managers convert improvement efforts from ad hoc to more structured and science-based.
• Intern, General Motors, Research and Development, Warren, Michigan USA, Summer 2003
  • Studied cases of white-collar work, especially non-routine complex processes such as Issue Resolution (IR).
  • Researched on principles to improve the efficiency and quality of white-collar work.

  • Assisted with the establishment of an international health-care management program conducting background research, feasibility study and project design.
